The University of Texas Dell Medical School project, which includes landscape, hardscape, and irrigation installation by Clean Scapes, was recently awarded the National Safety Training Evaluation Program (STEP) Award at the Platinum level.
It is extremely difficult to qualify for the Platinum STEP Award, as this is only the fourth such project awarded since initiation of the program in 2007. In order to qualify, it takes 24 consecutive months of achieving the required scoring criteria, including OSHA recordables, no general liability insurance claims, and compliance with regular inspections by not exceeding deficient conditions to name a few.
Additionally, with the Stage A project being a large, fast-paced utility, infrastructure, site preparation, landscape and hardscape package that spans from the Erwin Center to Trinity Street, and 15th Street all the way up to 24th Street, this is quite a feat.
