The tallest tower in Austin, Waterline redefines the connection between urban development and the natural environment. Clean Scapes is proud to be providing landscape construction for this landmark project, seamlessly blending architecture and nature throughout the ground plane and elevated terraces.
At the pedestrian level, Clean Scapes is constructing the Paseo — a dynamic, multi-layered public space that extends the adjacent Waller Creek Confluence project walkways into the heart of the tower. Framed by sculptural columns and vibrant stonework, the Paseo incorporates lush plantings, custom hardscapes, and water-conserving landscapes designed to soften the urban environment. This area also features high-end outdoor spaces for the retail and restaurant patrons, interactive gathering areas, and a refined drop-off portico that links Waterline to the historic Rainey Street District.
The landscape scope also includes the integration of extensive green infrastructure atop the building’s podium and terraces. Clean Scapes is constructing an outdoor amenity garden for hotel guests, office tenants, and residents. Key elements of our work include complex, multi-elevation site preparation and soil integration, the installation of trees with multiple anchor systems to withstand the high winds on structure, shrubs, native grasses, and seasonal plantings, precision installation of custom stone and hardscape features, and an irrigation system thoughtfully designed for sustainability and long-term plant health.
This project is wrapping up in mid-2026.
