Clean Scapes has made a significant investment in ensuring better air quality. By partnering with the City of Austin and Central Texas Clean Cities, an organization aimed to advance the nation’s economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local decisions to adopt practices that reduce petroleum consumption.  CTCC is one of 80 volunteer coalitions that develop public and private partnerships to promote alternative fuels and vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction.

In recent years, Clean Scapes has converted our gas-powered mowers to propane.  Propane mowers run cleaner, produce less harmful emissions, and decrease total fuel costs.  Propane currently costs 30% to 50% less per gallon than diesel fuel and allows companies to operate their equipment on environmentally sensitive Ozone Action Days.

Clean Scapes is one of a few commercial landscape companies participating in the switch and has performed the most conversions to date in Central Texas!
